Let’s take stock: The way we’ve created money is systemically flawed; our energy system is no longer fit for purpose; we’re seriously fucking with our life support systems; and we’re working harder than ever at doing it.
Wow, that’s embarrassing.
But amidst all this stupid there’s some seriously good news. These are all systemic problems, which means that only the tiniest changes to the systems (eg government policy) make things immediately much better: More free time, cheaper energy, cleaner air, better food, more space, more fun, more spending power, more freedom.
So what’s holding us back? A handful of selfish people, a few handfuls of stupid people, and the rest of us who think we can’t do anything about it.
